The shop says the last day to order for delivery before the holidays

What is being checked
Whether the shop states, as a date, the last day to order so that a parcel arrives before the holidays. The date is visible on every page during the holiday season, and it is the same date everywhere.
Why it matters
In December, most people buy a gift for a fixed day. Their first question is not "how fast is shipping?" but "will it arrive in time?". A delivery time such as "2 to 4 working days" makes them do the maths themselves, with weekends, holidays and busy carriers in between. Many will not risk it and buy somewhere that gives a clear answer.
A clear last order date is also an honest deadline. It creates urgency that is true, so the shop does not need invented countdowns.
Failure signals
- No last order date is shown anywhere.
- The date only appears in the FAQ or the shipping terms, not on the pages where people shop.
- The banner says one date, the product page or checkout says another.
- The date is given for one country only, although the shop ships to several.
- After the date has passed, the banner still promises delivery in time.
- After the date has passed, nothing tells the shopper what still works (express shipping, store pickup, gift cards).
How to verify
- Open the home page, a category page, a product page and the cart between mid-November and the stated date. Confirm the last order date is visible on each, without clicking.
- Confirm the date is a real date ("order by 19 December"), not a duration.
- Confirm the date is the same on every page and in checkout.
- If the shop ships to several countries or offers several shipping methods, confirm each has its own date, or that one date is stated as valid for all.
- Change the device date, or check the shop on the day after the stated date. Confirm the message changes and no longer promises delivery in time.
Recommended fix
Work out the last order date per shipping method and per country together with your carrier, and add a few days of buffer. Show it in one short line in the site-wide banner, and repeat it next to the delivery time on the product page and in checkout. Keep the date in one setting so it is the same everywhere. Prepare the message for the day after: what still arrives in time, and what does not.
